| Voufos Village is a small development of terraced houses sitting above the popular resort of Coral Bay and below the village of Peyia. Located in a quiet close in walking distance of the beaches of Coral Bay and a short drive to the centres of both Coral Bay and Peyia, the house offers comfortable beautifully furnished and provisioned family accommodation on either a bed and breakfast or self catering basis. The house sits on rising ground and enjoys views over the coastline above Coral Bay. Coral Bay itself is a 600 metre crescent of soft white sand book ended by a pair of headlands and home to a handful of top-notch hotels. Swimming is safe and excellent from the sandy beaches and the majority of popular water sports are available nearby with every conceivable activity from banana boat to jet ski for hire. Coral Bay centre offers a variety of shopping, cafes, tavernas, restaurants and night clubs with nightly shows and dancing suitable for all tastes. For those preferring more peaceful activities there are quieter swimming areas in adjoining bays where a small marina is also located. Further along the coast are the isolated sandy beaches around Lara Bay, sitting below the picturesque protected nature reserve of the Akamas peninsular. A jigsaw of coves and inlets hide some of the best (and most isolated) beaches on the island. Just 3 Km further inland the village of Peyia sits on the hillside high above the bay and provides a variety of shopping, cafes, tavernas and restaurants. The house has two large bedrooms, each with their own balcony, one with double and the other with twin bedded accommodation, and a well fitted bathroom. Both rooms have generous wardrobe space plus a dressing table and bedside units. A well equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor off which a dining area seating 6 people is located and which in turn sits above a lounge area complete with TV, radio and DVD player. There are two large settees in the lounge for making up as additional beds if required. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and freezer, over, hob and microwave, sink and drainer. A washing machine, ironing board and iron are available separately. The grounds are well landscaped with a private patio and sitting area surrounded by mature planting. Rooms are cleaned weekly, towels changed regularly and sheets weekly. We are available daily to ensure your needs are catered for and that your stay is as enjoyable as we can make it for you. The house is available either on a bed and breakfast basis or self catering. Affordable packages can be offered throughout the year for both families and couples. Car hire can be arranged as required as can various excursions. A regular public bus service runs from nearby Coral Bay to and from Paphos itself, some 11 Km along the coast to the south. |
