| Built in 1870 for H. Stockbridge Ramsdell, President of the Erie Railroad, it has been lovingly restored with respect for tradition and comfort. All 5 tastefully appointed guest rooms have river views, private bathrooms, air conditioners, clock radios with CD players, and cable TV with VCR's. Features include riverfront sunporches, canopy beds, fireplaces and an elegant common parlor overlooking the Hudson.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings, a hot breakfast is served at 9AM on the "sun porch" overlooking the Hudson River or in the dining room. Weekday breakfasts are continental - coffee, fruits, granola (at a reduced price). On Fri and Sat afternoons - from 5PM until 6PM - there is a wine & cheese hour in the parlor, also featuring river views. Whether on vacation, visiting family or on business, you will find this a perfect location.
