Our B&B is a small, warm and welcoming family home. The house has recently undergone extensive refurbishment with new bathrooms and bedrooms. The house nestles beside the southern edge of the Cambrian mountains, a vast area of outstanding natural beauty which is still relatively unknown. The Brecon Beacons, too, from the other side of the Irfon valley, are a paradise for walkers and cyclists. We have just two rooms for visitors; one a twin with ensuite shower room and the other a double with its own private bathroom. The house, although modern, is elegant with numerous antiques and paintings. We have a bespoke classical digital Phoenix church organ and a Bechstein grand piano for the use of guests who might play. We take great pride over our breakfasts. We have our own free range hens, honey from our bees - taking advantage of all the wild flowers in the area, home made jams and home baked bread every morning. Other foods are locally sourced and vegetarians are well catered for. We are just five minutes from the centre of the town with all its unusual and colourful events. We have ample safe and secure parking so being able to drink is not a problem! The town has its own brewery with a selection of tasty beers! The Heart of Wales railway runs through the town and this can form the base from which to explore more distant place, with or without bicycles. We really do try to make our guests feel at home and visitors can be assured of a warm welcome and all our attention.
