| Butler's Gate is a Sussex style property nestling at the foot of the South Downs with views towards the sea. It is in a quiet location but within easy access of the attractions of Eastbourne and within walking distance of local pubs which serve good food. Our pleasant, well appointed rooms are en-suite or with a private bathroom. They have period beds with quality mattresses which are very comfortable and supportive. The full English Breakfast is cooked to order and we use free range/organic ingredients where possible as well as home baked bread. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements. Local attractions include the promenade with its bandstand and pier, the Sovereign Harbour Marina, the South Downs (an area of outstanding natural beauty), Pevensey Castle, theatres and a concert hall, characterful restaurants and pubs. In June, the International Women's and Men'sTennis tournament is held in Devonshire Park in the centre of Eastbourne. |
