We are not sure how old Holly Tree Cottage is, but we think it has origins in the 16th century or even earlier, with greater additions during many other periods. It was originally two cottages, but has been converted into a large detached property.
It is full of nooks and crannies, higgledy piggledy and not quite what you would expect. Lovely gardens surround the house, where you are welcome to sit and have a drink during those long summer evenings. Breakfast is served in our beautiful period dining room. There is a conservatory for guests use, with TV/DVD/CD player, a nice place to sit in the evening overlooking the garden. We have plenty of safe, secure parking. Although on a main road we are fully double glazed, and perfectly situated for visiting all the surrounding attractions, such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Minsmere, Dunwich etc. There are also many pubs within a few miles radius that serve fantastic food and good beers/wines.
We have one double en-suite room and one double with private bathroom. All rooms have Freeview TV with DVD player, DAB radio alarm clocks, Tea/Coffee making facilities. All bathrooms have towels and toiletries supplied.
We have been working hard renovating and improving the cottage and would love to be given the opportunity of welcoming you, as guests, into our warm, cosy, comfortable home. Hopefully you will return again as our friends..... |
