La Loge is set in the heart of rural Normandy surrounded by open countryside and a host of ancient villages. Calvados is produced locally and Mantilly is called the “Pear Capital” of Normandy.
We have 3 double bedrooms and a sitting room for the exclusive use of guests.
La Lavande: Large, light South facing Double Bedroom with Kingsize bed and en suite ( jet shower, wc and handbasin. ). It overlooks the garden and countryside. Plenty of storage and hanging space.
Le Rosier: Large, light double bedroom on ground floor overlooking the garden with separate bathroom (Bath, washbasin, handheld shower, bidet and separate wc)
Le Lis: Adjacent to La Lavande there is a second double Bedroom which can be used for extra members of the party with separate bathroom.
The local area is full of traffic-free picturesque country lanes and byways ideal for walking and peaceful cycling. Within easy traveling distance we have some of the most interesting and well visited sights of France including Mont St Michel, Bayeux Tapestry and the Normandy D-Day Landing Beaches.
Visit the Museum at Domfront 12km from La Loge(formerly the City Jail in the 16th Century) absorb facts concerning the repatriation of French towards the end of the Second War.
