Lovely old rural cottage overlooking farmland yet near to Oakham, Uppingham and only 10 miles from Stamford. We are 4 miles from Rutland Water and its sailing and bird watching activities. We offer a beautiful double suite that can sleep up tp 3 people and a twin room for 1 or 2 people. Our rooms are beautifully furnished and everything is supplied for your absolute comfort. We have been described as being comparable to 5 star hotels. We specialise in excellent cuisine. All of our produce is from local farms and we grow most of our own vegetables.In summer, meals are taken in our sunny conservatory and in winter, in our cosy dining room. We are grandparents and love to have children staying at Post Cottage. We also accept well behaved and well housetrained dogs. We have 2 minature Schautzers ourselves so we hope that if you bring a dog, it is one that gets on with others! We enjoy providing bed and breakfast and hope to see you soon. Chrissie
