| Welcome to Holmhead Guest House, self-catering Cottage and Bunk Barn. Our former farmhouse stands directly on the line of Hadrians Wall and was, in fact, constructed with stone from the Wall in the early 19th century. The Hadrians Wall Trail and The Pennine Way both run directly alongside Holmhead and the Hadrians Wall Cycle Way is only 0.5 km away.
We have four ensuite bedrooms, with views of Thirlwall Castle and the Northumberland National Park or across to the North Pennines AONB. There's a guest lounge with TV Our substantial breakfast menu includes fresh fruit salad, cereals and a choice of wholesome local produce on our cooked breakfast menu. For evening meals, there's great pub food only 10 minutes' walk away. Sorry, no pets. |
