| Welcome to "Holmhead " our former Farmhouse stands on the line of "Hadrians Wall". The footpath along "The Wall" goes through the back garden, as does the Pennine Way footpath . The house is built with the stones from this "World Heritage Site".
We have 4 cosy bedrooms, each with a shower/toilet , . a guests lounge with open fire TV, mini bar , Books/Maps, and a garden by the river + a ruined castle near the back garden . We can prepare you a home cooked evening meal using fresh local produce ,guests dine together around large oak candlelit table. We have a wine/spirits license and can serve you from our world wide list of "Organic Wine" award winners . Your host is expert on Hadrians wall and can arrange guided tours and help you plan your visit. No Smokers, Please. |
