| A lovely Victorian Rectory situated in one acre of private lawned gardens in the quaint hamlet of Winterbourne Steepleton. Recently renovated and decorated we specialise in comfortable rooms ensuring a relaxing and pleasant stay.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, with country walks all around, and spectacular views of the valley.The 2012 Olympic sailing venue of Weymouth is only 6 miles away and Dorchester 4 miles both with many fine local restaurants. We recommend the Saxon Arms in Stratton which is a 10 minute drive away and offers a good selection of fish specials and large selection of freshly cooked meals to suit any appetite. The prices include fruit, cereals, muesli, bacon, Cumberland sausage, eggs, tomatos, baked beans with bagels, waffles and brioche to finish. All served in the Garden Room with separate good sized tables. We offer a quiet, comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautiful old family home. |

| Breakfast room - Breakfast includes cereals, fruit, yogurt, muesli, bacon, sausage, tomato, baked beans and eggs, followed by waffles, bagels and brioche to set you up for a busy day sightseeing. Car Park - Courtyard - Croquet Lawn - The Abbotsbury - This lovely room at the front of the house has two 3' singles or can be made up as a king size. The Abbotsbury bathroom - This lovely big bathroom was a bedroom and now is stunning in its traditional heritage red colours and features a free standing bath with separate shower, wc and his and hers handbasins. The Dorchester - This lovely room has a 6' square four poster bed and all our guests comment on the wonderful night's sleep they get! The en-suite has a bath with shower over, wc and his and hers handbasins. The Lulworth - This room has a 4'6 double bed and overlooks the courtyard. The en-suite has a shower, wc and handbasin. The Sherborne - This room has a 4'6 double bed and overlooks the side garden. The en-suite has a shower, wc and handbasin. |
