| Hilden Lodge Guest Accommodation is easily accessible from the A40 and is just a short drive from the M5, making it a convenient place to stay. The owners of the guest house aim to make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, which should assure a comfortable stay in this non-smoking establishment. During your stay you can watch one of the in-room DVDs on the flat-screen TV in your fully renovated room, before unwinding in the fully licensed bar. Conveniently situated on the A40, with free on-site parking, you can bring the car and explore the abundant beauty and heritage on show in the local area, with Cheltenham town centre just a few minutes journey time away. Hilden Lodge was originally named Castleton Villa and was allegedly built as the lodge for Castleton House at the end of Hearne Road. The original building was constructed in the early 1800s and retains a number of original features including cornicing and plaster coving. The Lodge became a guest house around 30 years ago and was then extended in the early 1980s. |
