|he Mason Cottage is a Cape May B&B located in the downtown historic district, only one block from the beach. The inn was built in 1871 by Edward A. Warne, a wealthy Philadelphia entrepreneur, and is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The inn is endowed with lofty ceilings, full-length windows and a sweeping veranda, all so characteristic of Victorian homes of the period.|
The inn has nine antique appointed guest rooms to choose from, each with private baths, flat screen TV's and I-Pod docking stations, Most suites offer a 2-person Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, mini-refrigerator and plush cotton bathrobes. A full gourmet breakfast, as well as afternoon tea is included with the room rate.
