Riverside Guesthouse is on the outskirts of the highland village of Crianlarich, in it`s own grounds adjacent to the river Fillan. The village is at the northern tip of the newly created Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park,an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Although only a one hour drive from Glasgow Airport, the two locations are a world apart. Within ten miles of leaving the airport the road follows the banks of Loch Lomond for virtually the rest of the journey, and although the road is quite narrow in places the views are superb.
Each of the bedrooms in the house are named after the mountains or glens that they look onto. There are six rooms in all, each with it`s own character, but in every case the common link is that the visitor feels welcomed .
Hospitality trays, colour TVs ( for when it`s too dark to appreciate the views ! ), central heating, double glazing, etc. are standard throughout . Some of the rooms have double picture windows, some face the river, some face the mountains, all have spectacular, uninterrupted, long-distance views .
This is not a guesthouse where there are different rates according to whether guests are accommodated at the front or back of the house !
