|Fferm-y-Felin nestles in 15 acres of unspoilt countryside where you can enjoy woodland walks, bird watching, trout fishing in a large lake near the famhouse and pony rides that are available for children.
Our traditional Welsh breakfasts using local produce are a delight!.
At Fferm-y-Felin ,we offer en -suite facilities, central heating with the convenience of a Games room which houses a full sized billiards table, dart board etc. There is also ample parking provided for our guests.
Fferm-y-felin is surrounded by nature in various forms, there is an attractive large lake behind the farm house that has brown and rainbow trout, which also attracts herons, wild ducks ,moorhens and geese.There are large amounts of frog spawn and tadpoles in spring and there is an abundance of insect life that can be found all around. We have a flock of Ryland sheep in our farms, the visitors can take active part in feeding and herding the sheep.
At Fferm-y-Felin ,we sell our pure organic honey from the bees on the farm which is delicious, We also sell home /made preserves Jam s and Marmalade,also freshly laid farm eggs, We also have throws & blankets which are made from the wool from our flock of Ryland Sheep.We also sell Marys Farm house ice cream ,heavenly!!.
A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at our beautiful 18th century stone farm guest house and cottages. Come and relax at the lake side and watch the Kingfisher, Heron and the Red Kite flying over the farm. You can either enjoy our delicious cooked breakfast in the main house or take a generously filled farmhouse hamper into the cottage for a quiet breakfast on your own.
Take in the atmosphere; it is an experience to remember! Lots of fresh air, peace and tranquillity. If you are feeling energetic, take a walk around the lake and our 15 acres of conserved countryside. In the woodland, and in our paddocks, the flock of Ryland Sheep and our horses, will be there to accompany you.
