|We look forward to welcoming you to our rural idyll. We have two suites, one of which can easily be expanded to accommodate a family. Please note that prices quoted include a simple but delicious continental style breakfast consisting of cereals, yoghurt, home baked breads and fruits.
We are in farming country three miles from the sea and handy for the Cardigan Bay coast. Attractions include Aberystwyth, which has the University, National Library, exhibitions, arts and lots of pubs and restaurants; Newquay, traditional seaside village plus dolphin spotting, and Aberaeron, Regency harbour town with plenty of pubs and eating places. There is a National Trust property - Llanerchaeron - four miles east of Aberaeron.
Llanrhystud itself has a pebbly beach with lovely sand and rock pools at low tide, a pub, post office and shop, small supermarket, golf course and country club with restaurant. It is one of the stopping off points on the Ceredigion Coastal Path.
We enjoy a rich wildlife, spectacular highlight of which is the Red Kite. Daily feedings take place at Nant y Arian east of Aberystwyth. For bird lovers, the murmuration of starlings in Aberystwyth is an event not to be missed!
