|Riverside Lodge is set alongside the banks of the River Great Ouse, which flows through Bedford and eventually reaches King’s Lynn and The Wash. The Lodge is a Grade II Listed property, and was originally built in the 17th Century as a lodge to Ouse Manor. It has seen incarnations as a dairy, a blacksmith’s forge and a family home, being extended over the years.
The Riverside Suite consists of a suite of two rooms, with private bathroom, TV, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, continental or cooked breakfast, hairdryer. If you wish to bring a larger party, such as relatives or children, we may be able to accommodate more people, please ask for details. Other rooms must be booked in conjunction with the Riverside Suite.
We can provide picnic lunches upon advance request.
If you would like to bring your dog, we may be able to accommodate this with advance notice.
Also, if you would like to bring your horse, we can provide stabling and parking for horseboxes and trailers. There are several local equestrian centres offering competition facilities, as well as some good trails for hacking.
If you are attending a local wedding, we may be able to arrange transport to and/or from the venue. If you wish to bring a larger party, we may be able to accommodate more people, please ask for details.
