|Built in 1885, Peel Hey is a privately owned Victorian Country House which has been beautifully renovated, and now offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation, close to the Victorian seaside towns of Hoylake and West Kirby.
Whether on business, visiting relatives, attending a wedding, golfing, sailing, walking or just enjoying the leisure peninsular, you can be assured of a very warm welcome at Peel Hey where our level of service and quality are second to none.
All our ensuite bedrooms have been individually styled and combine all the modern amenities of Colour TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer, central heating etc. that the discerning traveller would expect. The rooms have been specially designed to offer a variety of accommodation ranging from single, double, kingsize, twin and family rooms, featuring specially designed mezzanine floors, to offer additional privacy, whilst still retaining their original character and Victorian charm.
The delightful, south facing dining room looks out over the garden and paddocks and using local produce, we offer traditional English or Continental breakfast. Special diets are also catered for.
Located in the picturesque conservation village of Frankby, in the heart of the Wirral peninsular, Peel Hey has beautiful views across open countryside towards the coast.
Within easy walking distance of the local pub, the village is a welcome retreat away from the busy towns, yet is just minutes away from West Kirby & Hoylake where there are many excellent restaurants and bars.
Our theme throughout is diamonds, from the terrazio tiled entrance hall, to the diamond pattern brickwork and sandstone date plaque, repositioned and set into the gable end. This theme continues through the tastefully decorated interior, which is warm and welcoming, the emphasis being on quality and attention to detail.
We operate a Non-Smoking policy, and additional facilities include ample car parking, trouser press and ironing facilities, business and internet access and in addition provide the extra finishing touches to make your stay more enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble.
The local area offers a wealth of cultural and historical places to visit and explore, but it is also know as the leisure peninsular boasting 11 golf courses, including Hoylake, the Open Championship venue for 2006. Other championship courses include Wallasey, the home of Stableford and Caldy & Heswall to name but a few.
Within easy distance of Hoylake, West Kirby, Liverpool and Chester, Peel Hey is conveniently located on the B5139, just minutes from Junction 2 or 3 of the M53.
