The Love Croft Guest house is a traditional Scottish croft house set in 7 acres of Highland countryside.
The croft has been in the Love family for some 50 years but has recently been extended and refurbished to provide our guests with stylish, contemporary accommodation of the highest standard.
All our rooms have been decorated to the highest standard, with extra large comfortable beds and high quality linen and towels.
The master room is a luxurious spacious room with views of the Summer Isles and An Teallach. The room consists of an extra large high quality bed, a walk in wardrobe, and a large window seat.
The luxury en-suite bathroom comes with a large double-ended bath with shower above.
- Large twin room with magnificent views of the Summer Isles. Two comfortable twin beds one of which turns into a double to provide accommodation suitable for families. This room also has a luxury en-suite with shower and bidet.
- Double room situated downstairs for wheelchair access with views of the vegetable garden and surrounding hills. Spacious en-suite with fantastic shower and bidet.
- Suitable for children, the bunkroom has 2 comfortable beds and a shared bathroom opposite with double ended bath with shower above.
Upstairs there is a comfortable living room where you can chill out or watch TV.
If the weather is good why not sit outside on the patio or enjoy the garden. Meals are served in the dining room where you can relax in front of the log fire and watch the sunset.

The Love Croft is situated in the small village of Laide, which is traditional crofting village, and is an ideal base for a holiday in the West Highlands. The local shop is well stocked and is less than a mile away.
The village also boasts the remains of the only medieval church in Wester Ross and a cave that was inhabited in the 18th century. The neighbouring village of Aultbea (3 miles away) offers the choice of 2 pubs a café and an alternative shop.
The world famous sub tropical garden at Inverewe near Poolewe is just 10 minutes away by car.
Walking opportunities are endless in this area with An Teallach on your doorstep and the Bein Eighe nature reserve about 40 minutes away, with numerous other river walks in the vicinity.
From the A9 at Tore roundabout north of Inverness, take the A835 to Braemore Junction, 12 miles south of Ullapool. Turn left on the A832 signposted Gairloch / Aultbea / Dundonnell. Laide is 28 miles from Braemore.
