The Queen Anne style farmhouse built on the Welbeck Estate is located in North Nottinghamshire. The bed and breakfast was established in 1982 and has taken a number of guests, many more than once. Positioned 300 yards off the A632 it is easily accessible yet it retains its rustic flavour. Just a stones throw away, the local inn offers excellent evening meals. Further afield, Robin Hoods Major Oak is just 5 miles away with Creswell Crags, Chatsworth House, Newstead Abbey and Hardwick House all within close proximity.
There are three rooms on offer: an en-suite double room as well as a double and twin room with shared bathroom facilities. Both the breakfast and its timing are made to suite the guest with a traditional English breakfast always available.
The spacious lounge, including reclinable settee, large colour TV, DVD/video player and tea/coffee making facilities, provides welcome respite from the days activities.
There is a large garden with well-manicured lawns including a six-hole putting green, which provides a place of relaxation and fun for all the family. There is plenty of car parking space located next to friendly hens ready to lay eggs for your breakfast and a pond bristling with life.
