| Hawes is a lovely dales town featuring pubs, restaurants and local shops. Located in the centre of Wensleydale, home of Wensleydale Cheese. Picturesque scenery, long reaching views, marvellous walks together with the wonderful Yorkshire hospitality make this a wonderful place to visit.
Wensleydale has also featured in several movies, such as Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, All Creatures Great & Small and neighbouring Kettlewell was the onscreen home for The Calendar Girls. Wensleydale House is situated in Hawes, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Our rooms are large with good sized ensuites.
