The Loft is just 3 minutes drive from Benenden Village in a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Kent countryside.
The property is set in 6 acres of grounds and sits directly on the High Weald Walking Trail which offers breathtaking views and is perfect for long country walks. The network of quiet country lanes are also ideal for cycling.
There are three lovely local pubs with great food and gardens in Benenden and Iden Green, there's a local farmers market and a windmill in Rolvenden and a rare-breed centre (excellent fun for the children) in Woodchurch.
Chapeldown winery in Tenterden is home to a very stylish restaurant and there are many other up-market local restaurants like Apicius in Cranbrook, The West House in Biddenden and The Curlew in Bodiam.
It's a short scenic drive to many National Trust properties, gardens and places of interest such as: Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Batemans, Pashley Manor, Finchcocks, Chartwell, Bedgebury Pinetum, Battle, Hastings, Bodiam Castle, Hole Park,Tunbridge Wells and sailing at Bewl Water.
Cranbrook is 5 minutes drive, Tenterden 10 minutes with Rye and the beaches at Camber Sands and Winchelsea 15-20 minutes drive.
Travel to France takes 2 hours using the Channel Tunnel and London is one hour by train from Staplehurst.
There is a double sofa bed in the open plan living area and one double bedroom that can also be configured as a twin.
